ABOUT DHARMA TV

Dharma TV is a project of Buddhist Television International, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the profundity and inspiration of the Buddha’s spiritual tradition to the world of television. We are U.S. based, but our focus is on the international and universal aspect of the Dharma. Rather than presenting one particular branch of Buddhism, we seek to represent the essence of the teachings through our programming. Since the world of television is rapidly evolving, it is both timely and practical that Dharma TV has been launched as a web based service. For more on the mission of Buddhist Television International, our founders, and the emerging realm of Buddhist TV, we will be posting an organizational site soon.

The primary spiritual adviser of Buddhist Television International is the Ven. Bardor Tulku Rinpoche. Buddhist Television International's Executive Director is David N. McCarthy.
